Celebrating 50 Years of Educational Excellence

SCHOOL FUNDING CRISIS

Chippewa Valley Schools is the largest school district in the state receiving the lowest foundation allowance. We are being cut by $165 per pupil and now we have learned that the Governor has proposed an additional proration of $127 per pupil. For Chippewa Valley these cuts will be devastating. If we are cut $165 it will mean a loss of $2.6 million for our district. If the additional proration is added we will lose a total of $4.6 million in student funding for this school year.
