Volunteers Needed
Plans are underway for our Spring Carnival on Friday, April 25th. We are so excited to transform Ojibwa into a world of adventure! Our decorations committee is looking for volunteers to help with the creation of some of the decor we are planning.
We will also be looking for parent volunteers to help with set up, clean up and help with certain areas of the event that student volunteers cannot help with.
If you are interested please email us at 30pto@cvs.k12.mi.us, attention Francesca Pace. Thanks in advance for any support you can provide to make this event memorable for our students!
Spring Carnival Raffle Ticket Sales
Ojibwa PTO is sponsoring an exciting community-wide raffle! The top Four Prizes are: $500, $350, $250 and $100. Winners drawn during the Carnival on April 25th. Need not be present to win! Tickets can be presold and will also be available for purchase during the spring carnival on Friday, April 25th.
How it Works:
- We are asking each student & staff member to sell or purchase at least one book of tickets.
- The cost is $1 per ticket /$10 per book.
- Use this form to request the amount of ticket books you would like and we will send those home with your
student within 48-72 hours, or sooner if we are able to do it.
- All sold ticket stubs and payments MUST be returned prior to receiving additional tickets.
- Those returning sold tickets should include the completed ticket stubs and money in a sealed envelope marked PTO-RAFFLE no later than Friday, April 18th. Pursuant to new District Guidelines for collecting money, checks are preferred. Please make checks payable to Ojibwa PTO. Returned or bounced checks will be assessed a $20 fee. Tickets received after this date will be included in the Raffle, but will not count toward personal/classroom sales incentives.
- Incentives are being offered for the students that sell the most and the classroom!
Families Wishing NOT to Participate
You MUST return the ticket book back to school. The State of MI requires us to track every ticket number and we still try to sell unsold tickets during the carnival and distribute to families wishing to sell more

Spring Carnival Sponsorships & Donations
Our Spring Carnival is a way to help celebrate the "end of the school year" through a fun evening filled with games, raffle prizes, food and more! The event is a huge undertaking for our PTO and we are looking for donations and event sponsors. This program within the event helps offset the event costs while also raising money for the PTO. Here are just some of the things funded through the money raised during this event:
Field Trips, Assemblies, Grade level shirts, Science Olympiad, Lego Robotics and more!
Read more about how our PTO budget was allocated on our budget page.
Carnival Sponsors
Become an event sponsor for donating $200 or more via check or a raffle item(s)
Any business or family that donate items valued at $200 or more will be displayed as a sponsor of our event and/or carnival game, as well as recognized on our Facebook page and PTO website. This type of sponsorships help us offset the overall costs of the event to help raise as much money as we can for the students and staff at Ojibwa. We are expecting over 500 people at our event! This is a great opportunity for local business owners to get their name in front of our community! All donations are tax deductible and will provide a letter for proof of your donation.
All donations are needed by Monday, April 14th
